WHY PRAY ?

When life throws curveballs, it can be difficult to know how to keep pressing forward. Whether it's financial issues, health issues, relationship issues or something else, it may feel like there's no way out.

The good news is, we serve a God who hears and answers prayer. He knows our struggles and He promises to help us when we cry out to Him. When we pray and bring our worries to the Lord, we can have confidence that He will be at work to help us through.

Throughout Scripture, we see God's power in action time and time again. We see Him handing victory to the Israelites in their battles, providing strength to overcome fear, and rescuing people from difficult circumstances. He performed miracles and provided hope in the midst of despair. And He promises to do the same for us today.

The Bible tells us that when we go to Him in prayer, He will answer us. God is faithful to his word. He not only is listening but is actively at work on our behalf. We can bring our requests to Him with faith and anticipation for an answer.

If you're struggling with a situation that can't seem to be resolved, the virtual arms of your heavenly Father are open wide and waiting for you. Take your worries to Him in prayer and allow Him to lighten your load by giving it to Him. He will give you peace and courage that no one else can provide.

When we trust Him and turn to Him in prayer, breakthroughs are possible. Through faith and persistent prayer, His mighty power gives us victory over any obstacle. If you're feeling overwhelmed by a circumstance in your life, remember that God is listening and working on your behalf. Give it over to him in prayer and see what He will do.
